I have been part of TSM Insurance as long as I can remember. As a young boy my dad brought me to the office after school.

There was no "playing games" while I was there for those few hours. I was always given a job as simple as it may have been. I guess you would say that my official hire date was somewhere around the age of sixteen when I took on the high profile position as office custodian. Working after school by day and coming to clean every night. After a year or so of that I got the bright idea that working for my dad's company wasn't for me. So I went to work at Raley's as a bagger.

Well, that was really not for me and I left after only two months to rejoin the TSM Insurance team. It was at this moment when I knew I was a permanent fixture at TSM Insurance and in the insurance business. I turned 18 on July 30th, 1990 and was licensed as a property and casualty agent eighteen days later. I began selling auto and homeowners immediately with much anticipation to test my "selling" skills.

I was also a full time student at the time and in all honesty was always more of a worker than a student. I eventually made the commitment to take on the insurance industry full time. Through the course of almost 20 years in the business, I started my own "non-standard" auto insurance company, was the manager of the personal lines department and have now taken over the day to day operations. All of this, while still maintaining my own book of clients.

I owe much of what I know to all of our wonderful employees and of course my father. I love this job and I look forward to continuing the TSM Insurance legacy, while adding my own touch along the way.

I am a native Modestan and proud of it! Although our community is no longer the small, rural town of my childhood, it has retained its unique quality of being a place where people can get involved and actually make a difference. Through the years I have been active in many community service organizations, serving the needs of others. This has truly been a blessing in my life.

When I joined TSM Insurance in 1991 I had already spent 20 years in the business with my father running our own insurance agency. Today I still feel that sense of family when I walk through the doors of TSM, with caring people here to help each other as well as serving the needs of our valuable clients.

My wife, Sandy, and I have raised three wonderful children and are now looking forward being grandparents and the joy that comes with that entire experience.

I have worked in the Insurance Industry since 1988 and have been with TSM Insurance & Financial Services since 2000.

I achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2008, a premier designation program for insurance professionals.

I currently work as a Commercial Insurance Agent in TSM's Commercial Insurance Department focusing on meeting the insurance needs of business owners and providing excellent customer service for my clients.

I enjoy running and  traveling. However my favorite activity, according to my husband, is shopping for clothes with my two daughters. My perfect vacation would be running a half marathon in Hawaii, at a 5 star hotel, right next to a mall with a Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus.

My insurance career began 31 years when I walked into my insurance agent's office to pay my auto premium.

Little did I know this was to be the start of my new career!

I had previously worked as a hairdresser for 7 years, taken some time off from work, got married, had my 2 daughters and was a stay at home mom. I have worked at TSM Insurance for 28+ years. My work at TSM is very rewarding. I enjoy interacting with my clients and providing them with excellent customer service. TSM is known for our customer service and we strive to retain our reputation. Working in the insurance industry has its challenges and is not a boring career.

I enjoy many activities outside of my career. I love traveling with my husband and friends to many exciting places. I also enjoy antiquing, classic cars, hot rods and spending time with my 3 granddaughters. I also enjoy wine tasting and relaxing with a good fine wine.

I was born and raised in Modesto and have worked most of my adult life as a bookkeeper. Prior to my joining TSM, I worked with an engineering firm for 19 years.

I have been with TSM since October 2008 and I really enjoy working here. The best part of working at TSM is interacting with the great people that work here and the atmosphere that the principals Tony, Randy, and Guy have created.

I have been married to my husband Tom for over 30 years and we have two adult children, Alan and Gina, who have recently blessed us with two granddaughters.

In our spare time my husband and I like to play golf, however golf has now taken a back seat to our granddaughters.

I am a Commercial Lines CSA. I have been licensed for many years. I have a CISR designation. I take care of Business insurance needs. I have been with TSM since 1985. I worked for TSM when it was Powell Insurance Agency from 1976 to 1982.

My husband and I have 2 sons and 2 grandsons. I love being Grammy. It is the best. My husband is a Supervisor for a local Winery and has been there for over 30 years.

I love to travel, read books, go to antique stores, watch football and spend time with my family. I also love politics, which I inherited from my Dad. My Dad was a mayor, a city councilman and on the planning commission for Jackson, CA more than once thru the years.

TSM trusts us to do our jobs without looking over our shoulders eight hours a day. TSM strives to be the best and are well respected in the Community.

I came to work for TSM in 2000 as a part-time accounting clerk. I am responsible for processing all company commissions and accounts payables on all vendors. Before that I worked at a few long-term part-time positions at different companies, also worked for Hartford Insurance and Xerox Corporation (11 years) full time before moving to the Central Valley in 1987.

I'm married to a great guy and we have 4 grown kids and 2 grandsons (so far). We love to travel (favorite place is Maui), love gardening and of all things I enjoy working around my house which working part-time allows me the time in the mornings to get things done before coming in to work at noontime.

I am a lifelong resident of Riverbank with over 21 years of Insurance experience, including seven at TSM. I enjoy the daily interaction with clients and strive to provide excellent customer service.

I graduated from Modesto Junior College with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, I enjoy arts and crafts and spending quality time with my two grandsons, Ethan and Erik. I look forward to annual trips to the various beaches in Mexico and the islands of Hawaii to relax with my husband of 40 years and my three daughters.

My name is Sonja Stoughton. I have lived in Manteca for 17 years. I am married with two sons, one daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter.

I have worked in the insurance field for 13 years, and recently obtained my insurance license in order to service our clients at the highest level. 

Outside of work I spend as much time as possible outdoors. We take a lot of camping trips, boating excursions, and road trips.

My name is Debbie Sousa. I have been working in the health insurance business nearly a dozen years. Previously, I was trained as a Medical/Nursing Assistant. I found that being able to help clients to optimize their insurance and healthcare has great advantages when helping folks before they need care. Focusing on being a good consumer of healthcare is a great way to control expenses and preventive healthcare is a better path to staying healthy! During my 5 years with TSM, I have grown very fond of working closely with our senior citizen clients to navigate the craziness called MEDICARE. I am currently taking appointments in both our Modesto locations and our Manteca office, for your convenience.

I am a married mom of three beautiful girls (yes, my poor husband). My husband and I have become explorers of a sort. We enjoy spending family spending family time at the beach or on \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"road trips\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" where the destination is determined as we go. A bad day at the beach is better than a super day anywhere!

I was born and raised in Stanislaus County. After graduating college in San Francisco, I realized "the city" was not for me. Therefore, I decided to come back to my roots.

My 11 years in the banking industry allowed me to make many contacts with the wonderful people in our community. As a licensed banker, I was able to earn my clients' trust, many of them later becoming my friends. Listening to their needs allowed me the opportunity to suggest the products I knew would fit them best in our ever changing economy. 

I have been blessed to be a part of the TSM team/family as an insurance service agent and am amazed that in my time with TSM, I have experienced the true joy of loving what I do and the people I am honored to work with. As much as I love my job, I must admit I treasure the time I spend with my wonderful husband, Chad, and our two beautiful children.

Belinda Avila Peterson

I was born and raised in Modesto and have lived here my whole life. I graduated high school from Downey High School in 2000, the same year I joined the TSM team. I\'ve been happily married for 6 years. My husband and I have three great children, twin boys and a little girl, who definitely keep us on our toes.

I currently hold a part time position which I love because it gives me flexibility to volunteer in my children\'s school. With our spare time our family loves to go fishing, dirt bike riding or just to spend the afternoon at the park. Recently, I started an all girl softball team and we are on our second season. We\'re definielty rookies and I don\'t see us going \"pro\" anytime soon, but it has been a lot of fun. 

In addition to working with the staff at TSM, I enjoy the interaction I have with our clients.

Having grown up in Seattle and not seeing the sun for the majority of my life I escaped to the Central Valley to attend CSU Stanislaus. After playing golf at CSU, Stanislaus for 4 years and receiving my degree in Economics I played golf professionally across the country and Canada before settling down here in the valley and becoming a PGA club pro.

I have three wonderful kids, Andrew, Christian, and Taylor and a wonderful wife Jennifer. 

Seven years ago I left the golf business at Del Rio Country Club to pursue a career in financial services and to help people save and invest their money and protect their families. I recently joined TSM to further expand that opportunity to help people raise their quality of life and bring back the idea of goals and dreams.

I’m a Central Valley native, born and raised in good ol’ Ceres.  I have worked in the medical field for 8 years.  I started off in a community pharmacy, as a clerk/typist.  I took my pharmacy technicians test, passed and continued as a pharmacy tech.  I am new to this side of the medical insurance industry, but I am very much enjoying it. I enjoy helping customers, and working with the amazing staff here at TSM.

As a recent newlywed, I look forward to spending time with my husband when I’m not at work. We have the best time together; we enjoy going to baseball games, movies, concerts, and Disneyland! We are always up for an adventure! We are looking forward to buying a house, traveling, and one day having children.  

In 2006 I joined TSM Insurance and Financial Services as the \"marketing girl\" on a part time basis. Since that time I have been offered a lot of opportunity with TSM. I have been able to earn both insurance licenses and am confident in my ability to offer comprehensive assistance to my clients. I am so lucky to work closely with my clients on a daily basis, and have developed many great relationships with so many different individuals.

I am a third-generation insurance professional in practice for more than eight years. I specialize in commercial insurance, but most importantly quality customer service. This familial philosophy has been handed down from generation to generation and with this commitment I look forward to serving the community and its insurance needs.

Hello! I was born and raised right here in Modesto. I graduated from Sac State in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. Throughout my college career, I worked at a local restaurant with some of the best people in town. After many years in the restaurant business, I decided it was time to leap into a career. I heard many great things about TSM, and I am very excited to work for a great company with many wonderful colleagues.

Outside of working here at TSM, I am also a dance teacher which takes up the majority of my evenings and weekends. I have been dancing for nearly 20 years and I absolutely love teaching the little kids at my studio.

Just in case I don’t have enough things to do already, I recently became engaged to my wonderful fiancé, Aaron. In between planning our wedding and trying to purchase our first home, I enjoy my rare free time shopping, taking trips to the beach, going out to eat, and hanging out with my friends and family. 

My insurance career began in 1968 as an agent for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company in the Central Valley. In 1970 I became the Manager for the John Hancock in Modesto and surrounding area recruiting and training agents and selling to my personal clients. After 10 years in the industry, I joined the Powell Insurance Agency and that's when I become committed to a career in Employee Benefits.

In 1980 I along with Paul Smith and Doug Tourtlotte formed TSM Insurance. I now have the opportunity to work with my son, Guy Miligi and our partner, Randy Clark. I still enjoy selling and serving the groups of clients of the agency.

I have been married to my wife Linda for since 1966 and have two children, my son Guy and my daughter Gina. We have 4 wonderful grandchildren and enjoy our life on a small ranch with our adopted burros, dogs and cats.

While working the graveyard shift at the Ramada Hotel in 1992, I came across an ad for an accounting support person at a family owned insurance agency. Since my days were free and I was fresh out of Fresno State's accounting program, I figured I would sport my best red leather tie, interview and see what happened. Many years later, I can't imagine being anywhere else. The family atmosphere makes each day a blessing to come to work and be around good friends and co-workers. In 1993, I became a licensed life/health agent and have spent nearly half my life helping individuals and businesses determine the best solutions for their health care needs.

I have a wonderful wife and two very busy children. Between dance and baseball, we spend most of our free time supporting and cheering on our children. And since we refuse to grow up, we may take in Disneyland a few times a year. I am also actively involved in the Ceres Rotary and the Ceres Youth Baseball program.

I don't think when a parent asks their child "What do you want to be when you grow up?" They would say, "AN INSURANCE AGENT"! I know I sure didn't. In fact, I started out in the work force as a registered dental assistant. Looking back at it now, I think being in insurance is better than looking into people's mouths all day.

I took some time off from the work force to raise two sons and let my husband worry about the minor details of keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table. Once 1 decided it was time to reenter the work force, I dabbled in accounts payable for California Bean Growers Assoc., became a customer service rep for AAA, worked as an agent recruiter for North Western Mutual Financial, and now, 24 years after entering into the work force, here I am, a Personal Lines agent for TSM Insurance.

And OH! By the way, "I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!"

My position at TSM Insurance is financial advisor where I bring more than 35 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry to the agency.

In my advisory capacity I am affiliated with a national broker/dealer as a registered representative and financial advice and consulting services as a registered investment advisor. This affiliation allows TSM Insurance to provide all the services and products of the largest, full-service broker/dealers.

At California State University, Stanislaus I earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration. My business experience and credentials include positions as manager for New England Life, a pension consultant, past President of the Central Valley Life Underwriters Association, and board member of the Stanislaus County Estate Planning Council.

I enjoy local community service and am a member of the Modesto Lions Club where I served as Past President. My wife and I have two daughters, and in my free time I enjoy all sports and love to travel.

I work in both the Manteca and Modesto offices and love what I do…helping people and meeting their insurance needs. I was born and raised in Modesto and am happily married with two beautiful children.

I have been licensed to sell insurance since 2000, working for TSM since 2001 and currently serving on the CPW Foundation Board. I am full-blooded Portuguese and speak it as well as Spanish. When I am not in the office working with clients, I enjoy family time…taking my daughter to swim practice and playing cars with my little boy. (Judging by the way he's driving... I better increase my liability!)

I began my professional career with TSM in 2008 as a producer, and I'd like to think I hit the ground running and never looked back. I enjoy the competitive nature of the industry and I believe that my background in business makes me a valuable member of the TSM team. I currently reside in Escalon with my wife Charleen, and our youngest son Spencer. I am very proud to announce that in February of 2011 I became a grandfather for the first time to a beautiful girl thanks to my oldest son Zachary and his better half Jessica. In 1985, I earned my Bachelor's degree from CSU, Stanislaus and during my tenure in college I was fortunate to play four years of collegiate baseball, adding even more fuel to my competitive fire. Since obtaining my degree I have acquired over 20 years of sales experience, first with Mother's Cookie and Cake Company and now with TSM Insurance.

I spend most of my time away from the office at home with my family or watching my son Spencer play collegiate baseball at San Joaquin Delta College. I still can be found enjoying an occasional Sunday afternoon at the golf course.

I have been with TSM Insurance as their receptionist since 1995. It really has been nice seeing clients that have been coming in since I\'ve been here. It has also been nice meeting new clients. TSM has always been a family-friendly place to work for.

I have lived in the valley almost all of my life. I married my sweet husband in 1986 and we\'ve been together ever since. We have one grown daughter, Mikayla, who works side by side with me here at TSM Insurance.

Anyone that knows me knows \"I love to shop!\" You need something just ask me. My husband and I also love to bowl. I have bowled a 207! Will it ever happen again? When we are not bowling we love to ride our Harley down the coast or spend time in our 5th wheel on the beach, with all the comforts of home!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and moved to the Central Valley about 14 years ago. I\'m the Personal Lines, Customer Service Agent, for TSM Insurance Agency. I\'ve been working for TSM for over 9 years, and I have to say, this is the best place I\'ve ever worked! (No, I\'m not just saying that to get a raise!) :-)....I have over 23 years working in the insurance industry and love the opportunity it gives me to interact with people and clients. Helping our clients have a positive experience each time they contact our office is my goal!

For the past four years or so, I have been a commercial lines agent here at TSM specializing in Agribusiness and farm insurance. I've been in the Insurance industry for approximately seven years. I began my career selling life insurance, working for New York Life right out of college.

I have to say that coming to TSM was quite easy for me, since my father Mark has been with the company for over 17 years. I already had experienced the family like atmosphere here at TSM. I actually worked part time at TSM during high school taking photos of homes for the personal lines department, so I felt at home here from a very early age.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing baseball and spending time with my family. I believe that exercise and eating right are essential to a healthy lifestyle. My wife and I have been married for four years and we have a beautiful daughter who was born in early 2011. She is my little princess. We also love our animals, two dogs and a cat. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to evaluate the insurance programs for the many different types of businesses in this area and try not only to be a professional, but also an important resource to my clients.

My name is Christy Jones. After graduating high school in Antioch, CA, I moved to the Sonora area where my husband and I raised our two wonderful children. I became an insurance agent and opened my agency in Sonora in 1995. Several changes in my life brought me to the Modesto area in 2000, where I continued to work in the insurance industry. I am now a proud grandma, but still young enough to enjoy the outdoors working around my home and in my garden.
